Rutgers New Brunswick/Piscataway Campus
College Avenue Campus Safety Committee

The CAC Safety Committee is a work force driven group. We are comprised of individuals  from each  work / trade group on the campus.

Our   Mission   is   to   act   as  a  conduit  for  Safety   related information, which is disbursed, to the workforce on the CAC Campus.

We meet on the third Thursday of every month at 9 am in the conference  room  at  39 Easton Avenue.  Our meetings are open to all who wish to attend.

The College Avenue Campus Safety Committee first met  in January of 1998.  Our most significant accomplishment  was the standardization of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) which has risen the awareness of when equipment should be worn,  removed    from  service.   The  awareness   has   also brought to light  potentially  unsafe conditions  in  our  various work areas.  Our  greatest  achievement  was to raise Safety awareness in the CAC / FMS community.
